Baby {Sprinkle} Party Decor + Favors

Dear Loverlies,

We had the pleasure of throwing a {Baby Sprinkle} for three of our close friends (Lauren included) that are all having a baby. Or we should say, just had. Lauren had her sweet bundle of joy a week ago and she is beautiful.

We of course had to do something special for them. We had a baby sprinkle lunch at our favorite local restaurant, Zinburger. We sure got lucky because they let us decorate the table and couldn't have been more accommodating. It turned out fabulous. We wanted to share the simple touches we added to the restaurant table that turned it into a dazzling :Sprinkle: We hope that you can get ideas from our post in case you ever decide to throw a |sprinkle luncheon| Enjoy!

Pinwheel Centerpieces

Pinwheels are our. new. obsession. Simple yet so perfect for a fun occasion. We took milk bottles that can be found in the Target One Spot and used -gold glitter- washi tape to add sparkle. Gold is a great color for this because it can look girly or boyish. Using scrapbook paper on hand and jewels, we whipped up these pinwheels. We used directions from Ribbons and Glue, follow the link

We stuck the pinwheels on kabob sticks. Since making them, we've seen pinwheels attached to paper straws which is even cuter. Stick the pinwheels in the bottle and DONE! Easy peasy. Add a cute tag with a clear label and this is a quick centerpiece. Be sure to use scrapbook paper that coordinates with the nursery decor so these centerpieces turn into a gift that can be forever placed in the little's room.

Table Runner

Spice up any table with a runner and it will transform the space. Burlap is our fav.

Balloons

We needed something to add height to the table and of course balloons did the job perfectly. You can't ever go wrong with balloons, especially at a Baby Sprinkle. Shout out to our loverly Kelsey for putting together the balloons for this occasion.

Favors + Table Decor

No matter how big or small a function is, we are all about favors. The best part is that favors often times serve as another purpose, table decor. We took simple "sprinkled" cookies and wrapped them in clear bags. We tied the bags with jute and a personalized tag printed on kraft colored paper. These favors completed the look.

Can you spy the :pinwheel: in Ansley's nursery?

Handprint Easter Craftivity

Dear Loverlies,

Happy soon to be Easter! We had the best time making this and wanted to share. Make this {simple} chickadee craft with your little one. This is fun and takes little time from start to finish. :Enjoy:

You Need:

canvas

foam brush

glue gun

yellow finger paint

baby wipes

googly eyes

"Happy Easter" die cut *stickers work too*

scrapbook paper *for egg + feathers*

orange paper *for beak*

How to Make:

1. One foot at a time, paint your little's foot. Stamp it on center of canvas. Repeat with other foot. The footprints go next to each other side by side. The toes towards the top.

2. Paint your little's hand and stamp on one side of foot. Repeat with other hand and stamp on other side. Now the painting is done, yay! We use wipes to clean up the mess, so {easy}. Don't be alarmed!! At first when I saw how it looked I was a little nervous.....as you can see it turns out super cute! I remind myself that these crafts are -perfectly imperfect-.

3. While waiting for the paint to dry, cut out a beak with the orange paper. You can use a stencil from online or just eyeball it like we did. Next, cut out the egg shell. We then cut out two ovals for the
-feathers- that go on top of the chick's head. [Here's a close up so you can see how we cut the shapes].

4. Using a die cut machine, cut out the "Happy Easter" or use stickers.

4. Using the hot glue gun, glue on the egg shell, beak, googly eyes, bow, and "Happy Easter."

5. Done! We LOVE to see your creations so be sure to share your craftivity with us.

Top Nursery Decor -Must Haves-

Dearest Loverlies,

While we are counting the days until Lauren gets to meet her bundle of joy, we wanted to share with you our favorite |baby room| must haves. While we are using a girl's nursery as an example, you can totally use our tips for a baby boy's room as well. Enjoy!

1. Tassel Banner + Name + Wall Decor

When it comes to showing off the crib, what goes above it is key! We are LOVING tassel banners right now and to add more to it, place a pennant banner on top with your babe's name. Be sure to use a mirror, monogram, sign, or heart such as in this picture to hang above or below to add that special touch with the banner.

2. Dream Catcher

Dream Catchers are a MUST HAVE right now in a nursery. You can either buy them or make them. Lauren made this one to match the room and it is {stunning}.

3. Gallery Wall

You can't go wrong with a gallery wall in any room. This simple gallery wall is just enough to add that perfect touch to the room. We recommend having one sign with a cute and simple quote and pairing it with other wall decor around it. Notice the adorable tassels hanging next to the sign? This is a favorite as it puts a spin on the original horizontal tassels that we normally see. You can make this yourself by hanging the tassels vertically but be sure the tassels are strung tightly so they don't slide down the string.

4. Stuffed Animal Wall Mounts

These animal wall mounts are making their way into all the top nursery's in magazines and social media. This unicorn wall mount couldn't be a better fit for this nursery and turns it into a whimsical  baby sanctuary. Be sure to place it above a large wall sign, banner, or window to make it -stand out-.

5. White Furniture

I don't know about you but *white* furniture is the key to our hearts in any baby room. There is something about all white that just puts the cherry on top of the nursery. The furniture sets the tone for this room and we still can't get over this |:beautiful:| dresser with the mirror.
